ALL PATHS LEAD TO GOD -- THE DIVINE PLAN

The question is:

Do all Paths lead to God?

Most religions in the world share the concept of one ultimate God. This is one of the proofs how mankind was blessed with Fitrah (true nature of believing in one God) as I wrote about it in my earlier post. Thus, God expresses Himself in all the religions and these religions are like rivers flowing towards the Sea. There is only one Creator and people look at Him from different perspectives and all Paths lead to Him in the end. It means all of us will return to Him.

I personally respect all religions in the world and I am never prejudiced against anyone on the grounds of faith. What I DO NOT respect is falsehoods, fabrications, myths, legends, injustice and lies, especially about the Originator of the heavens and the earth!!!

"Who can be more wicked than one who invents a lie against God, or say, "I have received inspiration", when he has received none, or (again) who say, "I can reveal the like of what God has revealed". [Quran 6:93]

The question should be:

Are all religions acceptable to God?

Do all Paths lead to salvation?

If you say yes then why did God send down Messengers and Books to guide people?

“And We bestowed upon him (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob, each of them We guided, and before him, We guided Noah, and among his progeny David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron. Thus do We reward the good-doers.

And Zachariya, and John and Jesus and Elias, each one of them was of the righteous.

And Ishmael and Elisha, and Jonah and Lot, and each one of them We preferred above the mankind and spirits (of their times)” [Quran 6:84-86]

What was the mission of these Prophets?

18. And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),-

19. The Books of Abraham and Moses.
[Quran 87:18-19]

3. "It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong)." [Quran 3:3]

105. Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message: My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth."

106. Verily in this (Quran) is a Message for people who would (truly) worship God. [Quran 21:105-106]

What do these Books teach people?

How many generations has God destroyed after Noah and why?

"God puts forth a Parable- a man belonging to many partners at variance with each other, and a man belonging entirely to one master: are those two equal in comparision? Praise be to God! but most of them have no knowledge". [Quran 39:29]

Regarding Hinduism, polytheism and idolatry:

"(The Pagans), leaving Him, call but upon female deities: they call but upon the devil the persistent rebel!" 4:117

"O ye who believe! intoxicants and gambling, sacrificing to stones, and (divination) by arrows, are an abomination, ---of the devil's handiwork: eschew such, that you may prosper."5:90

"There came to you Moses with clear (signs) ; yet you worshipped the Calf (even) after that, and ye did behave wrongfully." 2:92

"Behold! he (Abraham) said to his father and his people, "What are these images, to which you are devoted?

They said," We found our fathers worshipping them ."

He said," Indeed you have been in manifest error---you and your fathers."21:52-54

Regarding Shintos and other shrine worshippers:

"Yet they make the spirits equals with God, though God did create the spirits; and they falsely, having no knowledge, attribute to Him sons and daughters, praise and glory be to Him! (for He is) above what they attribute to Him!" 6:100

"True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Spirits, but they increased them into further error." 72:6

Regarding those who worship celestial bodies:

"Hoopoe said (to Solomon), "I found her (the queen) and her people worshipping the sun besides God: the devil has made their deeds seem pleasing in their eyes, and has kept them away from the Path, ---- so they receive no guidance,---"27:24

Regarding those who believe in god-incarnation such as the Nation of Islam in America led by Louis Farrakhan:

"It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the Prophetic Office, should say to people: "Be you my worshippers rather than God's". On the contrary (he would say) : "Be you worshippers of Him (who is truly the Cherisher of all). For you have taught the Book and you have studied it earnestly.

Nor would he instruct you to take angels and prophets for Lords and Patrons. What! Would he bid you to unbelief after you have bowed your will (to God in Islam)?" 3:79-80

Regarding poets and philosophers:

"And the Poets,---it is those straying in Evil, who follow them:

See you not that they wander distracted in every valley?---

And that they say what they practised not?---" 26:224-226

Regarding apostasy:

"How shall God guide those who reject faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger was true and that Clear Signs had come to them? But God guides not a people unjust." 3:86

Regarding Deism:

"He (God) cannot be questioned for His acts, but they will be questioned (for theirs)." 21:23

Regarding the deviant Sufism which believes the Creator and the creation is one:

Say: "Who is the Lord and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth?"
Say: "God".
Say: "Do you then take (for worship) protectors other than Him, such as have no power either for good or for harm to themselves?"
Say: "Are the blind equal with those who see? Or the depths of darkness equal with light?"
Or do they assign to God partners who have created (anything) as He has created, so that the creation seemed to them similar?
Say: "God is the Creator of all things. He is the One, the Supreme and Irresistible." [Quran 13:16]

Regarding devil worship:

60. "Did I not enjoin on you, O you Children of Adam, that you should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?-

61. "And that you should worship Me, (for that) this was the Straight Way?"
36:60-61

"The devil makes them promises, and creates in them false hopes, but his promises are nothing but deception."
4:120

Regarding atheism:

"Those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,--- on them is God's curse, and the curse of angels, and of all mankind." 2:161

Regarding those who take human beings for gods:

"Then he (Pharaoh) collected (his men) and made a proclamation,

Saying,"I am your lord, most high".

But God did punish him, (and made an) example of him,--- in the Hereafter, as in this life." 79: 23-25

Regarding the disbelievers among the Jews:

"We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of Messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a Messenger with what you yourselves desire not, you are puffed up with pride? --- Some you called imposters, and others you slay (killed)!" 2:87

Regarding the disbelievers among the Christians:

"Certainly they disbelieve those who say: "(God) is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! worship God, my Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with God,- God will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will be for the wrong-doers no one to help.

Certainly they disbelieve those who say: God is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One God. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them." 5:72-73

All of this clearly shows that not all Paths are equal.

19. The blind and the seeing are not alike;

20. Nor are the depths of Darkness and the Light;

21. Nor are the (chilly) shade and the (genial) heat of the sun:

22. Nor are alike those that are living and those that are dead. God can make any that He wills to hear; but you cannot make those to hear who are (buried) in graves. [Quran 35:19-22]

People are being ungrateful and unjust towards God by worshipping and listening to others besides Him. It is God Who created us and sustains us and He is the only One worthy of worship.

There are many religions in the world concocted by human beings in order to be separated and divided causing enmity, hatred and envy BUT there is only one religion acceptable to God and that one is the one which God Himself revealed through His Messengers from time to time.

It was part of His divine plan and wisdom  that with the passage of time, partly due to the new needs of the changing and developing times and climes, and partly due to the nullification and falsification of the earlier revelations by their followers, the series of the prophets and revelations continued until it was sealed with the advent of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the Quran and the series of revelations came to end.

There is only one religion. It was the religion conveyed by all the earlier Prophets, who were sent to preach the message of the revelation to their own people in accordance with the wisdom and justice of the Divine Plan to prepare the peoples of the world for the reception of the religion in its ultimate form as a Universal Religion at the hands of the last prophet, who was sent to convey the message of the revelation not only to his own people, but also to mankind as a whole. The essential message of the revelation was always the same: to recognise and acknowledge and worship the One True and Real God alone, without associating Him with any partner, rival, or equal, nor attributing a likeness to Him; and to confirm the truth preached by the earlier Prophets as well as to confirm the final truth brought by the last Prophet as it was confirmed by all the Prophets sent before him. God says:

"Today have I perfected your religion for you and have bestowed upon you the full measure of My Blessings and willed that Islam shall be your religion. [Quran 5:3]

Islam was the part of God’s Plan to mankind and every man and woman is obliged to go by this Plan to be loved and protected. As God says in the Quran:

5. "....and the angels celebrate the Praises of their Lord, and pray for forgiveness for (all) beings on earth: Behold! Verily God is He, the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

6. And those who take as protectors others besides Him,- God doth watch over them; and you are not the disposer of their affairs.

7. Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Quran: that you may warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire.

8. If God had so willed, He could have made them a single people; but He admits whom He will to His Mercy; and the Wrong-doers will have no protector nor helper. [Quran 42:5-8]

See? The Angels pray for the well-being of all human beings and God admits whom He will to His Religion and He could have even made mankind a single people following none other than Islam but He wants to test us.

God sent Messengers to every nation, that they might worship Him and shun false deities. The last nation is this Muslim nation, and the last Messenger is Muhammad (peace be upon him). God sent him for the whole of mankind, the entire world, and thus abrogated the previous laws and made this religion the best and most perfect and complete. Hence it is obligatory for everyone to enter this religion, for God says:

"And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam (submission to God's Will), it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers." [Quran 3:85]

Islam is the gateway to peace and the solution to all evil only if one adheres to all its teachings with innocence and obedience. Become Muslim and you shall be of those who will follow the Believers through the Gates of Paradise.

Peace be upon those who follow the truth.

THE CHILDLIKE SPIRIT IS THE ISLAMIC TRUTH!

Christians and philosophers often talk about the childlike spirit. What is this childlike spirit?

I did a Google search and I was amazed at what I discovered.

I have no room to write in detail about my findings here but I will write posts on this topic soon, if God wills.

For now, we are going to see what Islam says about the childlike spirit!

Islam has a lot more to do with this spirit than other religions and because of that no one can claim to know the childlike spirit better, let alone define it better than Islam does!

Every human being is born innately knowing that God is One and therefore with a natural belief in the Creator. This attribute is known as "al-Fitrah" in Islam. It means premordial nature or innate disposition. It can also be defined as true human nature or natural religion.

Every child is born in this Natural Religion as Allah, Glorified be He, told Prophet Muhammad (pbuh):

"I created My servants in the right Religion but the devil made them go astray"

God has created mankind with the knowledge of Him being the only God and creator. The first stage of human consciousness of God is in man’s spiritual condition before he entered this world.

"And when your Lord brings forth their offspring from the loins of the Children of Adam, He calls them to bear witness unto themselves: "Am I not your Lord?". "Yea, indeed we do witness (that you are our Lord" [Quran 7:172]

The above verse tells us that the souls of mankind were made to witness unto their selves the actuality of God’s lordship and by their own admission they had sealed a covenant with God acknowledging Him as their absolute owner and sustainer. This testimony of faith is the same testimony a person utters in order to embrace Islam:

"I bear witness that there is no God except Allah...."

The second stage of human consciousness of God is at the level of man's inborn knowledge. Thus, every child is born as a Muslim (one who submits oneself to God alone). In harmony with the first stage, when man is manifested in this worldly life he will, if rightly guided (if not tempted by the devil), remember his covenant and act accordingly making his worship, piety, life and death for the sake of God alone.

The final stage of human consciousness of God as the
creator-sustainer in this world is when God provided mankind with His revelations via His Messengers and Prophets who are raised from almost every people in their own language. These Messengers have conveyed one and the same faith and religion since the dawn of mankind.

13. "The same religion has He established for you (O Muhammad) as that which He enjoined on Noah - the which We have sent by inspiration to thee - and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than God, hard is the (way) to which thou call them. God chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him)."
[Quran 42 :13]

Unlike Christianity which lied that mankind was born in sin and in an impure state, Islam proved that God had created mankind Innocent, Pure, True, Free, inclined to Right and Virtue, and endued with understanding about his own position in the universe and about God's Wisdom and Power! That was his/her true nature.

This is why children are regarded as being pure and sinless and Islam proved this natural premordial goodness through them! They do not lie unless they are taught to. They do not hate unless they are taught to. Their hearts are inclined to Right and Virtue until they become influenced directly or indirectly by the environment. This simple goodness of children completely knocked out the idea of the "original sin" that the Christians invented for themselves out of despair at God’s Mercy and Forgiveness!

All the children, more or less, are affected by the environment. They are caught in the meshes of customs, superstitions, selfish desires, and false and biased teachings.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:

“Every child is born on Al-Fitrah (natural belief in the Oneness of God) but his/her parents convert them to Judaism, Christianity or Zoroastrian, as an animal produces a perfect young animal. Do you see any part of its body amputated?".

《Since many infants are born with  physical deformities, the amputation referred to in this saying is not meant in the physical sense; it means that all children are born spiritually pure, in a state of Fitrah. The reference to animals born intact should be viewed as an analogy to show the parallel spiritual wholeness of children at birth.》

Just as a child’s body submits to the physical laws which God has put in nature, its soul also submits naturally to the fact that God is its Lord and Creator.  But its parents try to make it follow their own way and the child is not strong enough in the early stages of its life to oppose its parents. So they learn and follow what their parents do or practice.

If children are allowed to grow without any external influence, if they are not affected by any environment, any changes that occur in the world, including the whispers and temptations of the devil, they will be able to recognise their Lord, and follow the natural instinct of worshipping only one God. God revealed in the Quran:

"I have not created the spirits and mankind but that they should worship Me (alone)." (Quran 51:56)

But because of the condition of this world children are never allowed to exercise their free will in all matters.

If humans are perfect beings then why did God test them and why did Adam and Eve disobey God and eat the forbidden fruit?

God did warn Adam and his wife against the devil, as He said:

“O Adam! Verily, this is an enemy to you and to your wife. So let him not get you both out of Paradise, so that you will be distressed”
[Quran 20:117]

Then the devil whispered to Adam and his wife, and tempted them to eat from the forbidden tree:

“Then the devil whispered to him, saying : ‘O Adam! Shall I lead you to the Tree of Eternity and to a kingdom that will never waste away?" [Quran 20:120]

Adam forgot and could not resist the temptation, so he disobeyed his Lord and ate from that tree.

Their Lord called to them and said:

“Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you: Verily, the devil is an open enemy unto you?”
[Quran 7:22]

Adam and Eve regretted what they had done, and said:

“Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers”
[Quran 7:23]

The sin of Adam stemmed from desire, not from arrogance, hence God guided him to repent and He accepted that from him.

This is what God meant when He said that He created mankind in the right, perfect religion but the devil led them astray by making them follow their own whims and desires.

In the Islamic literature, Jesus (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to his disciples:

"Man is created into this world in four stages, in three of which he feels secure and in the fourth of which he is ill-disposed and fears that Allah will forsake him.

In the first stage, he is born in three darknesses: the darkness of the belly, the darkness of the womb, and the darkness of the placenta. Allah provides for him in the darkness of the cavity of the belly. When he is brought out from the darkness of the belly, he falls upon milk which he does not advance toward on foot or leg, or obtain with his hand or move strongly toward, but he is forced to it and rewarded with it until flesh and blood grows upon him. Weaned from milk, he falls upon the third stage: food provided by his parents, who earn it lawfully or unlawfully. When his parents die, people take pity on him, one person feeding him, another giving him drink, another sheltering him, and another clothing him. When he falls upon the fourth stage and has grown strong and upright and has become a man, he fears that he will not be provided for, so he attacks people, betrays their trust, robs their belongings, and carries away their wealth, fearing that God Almighty might forsake him."

The above saying teaches us that crime is the product of despair at God’s bounty and this despair and greed fight against the Fitrah (true nature) of a person as he leaves childhood behind to become an adult.

The adult must now live in the midst of a struggle between his Fitrah and his desires in order to find the right road.  If he chooses his Fitrah, God will help him overcome his desires even though it may take most of his life to escape, for many people enter Islam in their old age although most tend to do so before that.

As all these powerful forces fight against the Fitrah, God chose certain righteous men and revealed to them clearly the right path in life.  These men whom we call Prophets or Messengers were sent to help our Fitrah defeat its enemies.  All the truths and good practices present in societies around the world today came from their teachings, and if it were not for their teachings, there would be no peace or safety in the world at all.  For example, the laws of most Western countries are based on the “Ten Commandments” of Prophet Moses, like “Thou shalt not steal” and “Thou shalt not kill” etc., even though they claim to be “secular” governments, free from the influence of religion.

CHILDREN IN PARADISE

Islam recognises that all children are born pure, sinless and predisposed to belief in One God, whether born of Muslim or non-Muslim parents. It also guarantees that all children go to Paradise if they die before attaining the age of discretion.

It is related that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said that he saw in a vision an old man at the front of a large tree and around him were children and in the vision he was told that the old man was Abraham and that the children who were around him were those who, before attaining the age of discretion, had died. At this, some Muslims had asked him:

"And the children of the polytheists too, Messenger of Allah?"

The Prophet (pbuh) replied: "The children of the polytheists as well."

Being with Abraham meant being in Paradise, and this includes children of polytheistic families. It is clear, from the Quran and from the hadîth, that every child is born with a pure nature, as a Muslim.

FREE WILL AND DIVINE WILL

Fitrah is an active inclination and a natural innate predisposition to know our Creator, to submit to Him and to do right. This is man’s natural tendency in the absence of contrary factors. Although all children are born in this state, the influence of the environment is decisive; parents may influence the religion of the child by baptizing him a Christian, Jew or Magian. If there are no adverse influences, then the child will continuously manifest his Fitrah as his true nature.

Every human being is given the choice between right and wrong, truth and falsehood, Islam and disbelief. There was NO ONE in this world who had not been given this choice.

“29. And say: ‘The truth is from your Lord.’ Then whosoever wills, let him believe; and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve. Verily, We have prepared for the polytheists and wrongdoers, a Fire whose walls will be surrounding them (disbelievers in the Oneness of God). And if they ask for help (relief, water), they will be granted water like boiling oil, that will scald their faces. Terrible is the drink, and an evil dwelling, resting place!

30. Verily, as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, certainly We shall not make the reward of anyone who does his (righteous) deeds in the most perfect manner to be lost.

31. These! For them will be ‘Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens); wherein rivers flow underneath them; therein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine and thick silk. They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good is the reward, and what an excellent dwelling, resting place!”
[Quran 18:29-31]

Man can use his choice, free-will and intellect to overcome the negative influences of the environment and attain to the highest level of psycho-spiritual development which is in Arabic "an-nafs al-mutma’innah" meaning ‘the Self Made Tranquil’.

At this level, his inner and outer being, his soul and body, are able to conform to the requirements of his Fitrah and the dictates of the Islamic shariah (Divine Laws). He actualises his Fitrah, and attains psycho-spiritual integration and inner peace.

Parental and other social influences cause man to change and become alienated from his Fitrah. However God says in the Quran 30:30 (‘There is no changing in the creation of Allah.’) suggests that Fitrah is universal unchanging given of the human constitution. It cannot change, and it exists at birth in all human beings.

Because of the elements of intellect and free-will, people may decide and choose to conduct themselves in a wrong or unlawful manner. All the children of Adam, including those who deviated from the right path, possessed Fitrah. Civilisations which have been condemned and destroyed by God because of their practice of polytheism and unbelief, possessed Fitrah. Fitrah is a universal and immutable given of the metaphysical human constitution, and as a rule, cannot be corrupted or altered. No wrong action can pollute the Spirit created by God which He has blown into man despite the many generations of polytheism and unbelief.

28. Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape;

29. "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My Spirit, fall you (O angels!) down in obeisance unto him." [Quran 15:28-29]

Both polytheism and unbelief represent the antithesis of Fitrah by undermining its very object and raison d’etre.

When an individual commits polytheism or unbelief he denies his own nature and contradicts his own self. Fitrah which is integral to man’s spirit also known as the "childlike spirit" was created by God so that he can acknowledge Him as the Lord Who has power over all things. Belief in the Oneness of God which is the Islamic Monotheism is intrinsic to man’s Fitrah (true nature) because Allah in His infinite wisdom intended for man to know Him as the One God. This is why man was able to acknowledge his Lord before his existence on earth, that is, in pre-existence state.

"Set your face to the Religion (Islam) in sincerity which is Allah's Fitrah (the nature made by Allah) upon which He created mankind. There is no changing in the creation of God. That is the right Religion but most people know not."
[ Quran 30:30]

Indeed most people know not that Islam is the childlike spirit.

THE NAMES OF THE CREATOR

God is known as Jehovah in the Old Testament which originated long before the arrival of Jesus (pbuh).

Yahweh is the name God revealed to Prophet Moses (pbuh) when he asked Him directly to tell him His Name. It is not really a name, but a statement of Existence, Causality and Permanence.

The point that needs to be understood by all is that God, the Father, Jehovah, Yahweh and Allah are one and the same God. There is only one True God no matter what people call Him. The Supreme One, the Almighty can be defined as being One Alone. There cannot be two supremes. Allah is simply the Arabic word for "the Almighty".

"Al" means "the". "ilah" means "God". The two words are joined together to form the word Allah, Glorified be He.

It is the word for God normally used by Arabic-speaking Christians in the Middle East as well as Muslims around the world.

It is the same God that inspired all the Prophets and Messengers at different periods throughout history.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL NAMES OF GOD

Allah, the Almighty, has many Beautiful Names and Attributes worthy of His Grandeur. Muslims remember God by mentioning these Names as a means of worshiping Him.

The Prophet (pbuh) said:

"Allah has ninety-nine Names, one hundred minus one, and whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter Paradise; and Allah is One and loves odd numbers."

God says:

"He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, does declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise." [Quran 59:24]

The most Beautiful Names of Allah are:

Allah, Al-Ahad (the One), Al-A'laa (the Most High), Al-Akram (the Bounteous), Al-Ilaah (the Lord), Al-Awwal (the First), Al-Aakhir (the Last), Ath-Thaahir (the Evident), Al-Baatin (the Immanent), Al-Baari' (the Evolver), Al-Barr (the Beneficent), Al-Baseer (the All-Seeing), At-Tawwaab (the Exonerating), Al-Jabbaar (the Compeller), Al-Haafith (the Protector), Al-Haseeb (the Sufficer), Al-Hafeeth (the Maintainer), Al-Hafiyy (the Most Gracious), Al-Haqq (the Verity), Al-Mubeen (the Manifest), Al-Hakeem (the All-Wise), Al- Haleem (the Clement), Al-Hameed (the Laudable), Al-Hayy (the Ever-Living), Al-QAyyoom (the Dominating), Al-Khabeer (the Well-Acquainted), Al-Khaaliq (the Creator), Al-Khallaaq (the All-Creating), Ar-Ra'oof (the Truthful), Ar-Rahmaan (the Merciful), Ar-Raheem (the Compassionate), Ar-Razzaaq (the Giver of Livelihood), Ar-Raqeeb (the Vigilant), As-Salaam (the Source of Peace), As-Samee' (The One that Heareth), Ash-Shaakir (the All-Thankful), Ash-Shaheed (the Witness), As-Samad (the Absolute), Al-'Aalim (the All-Knowing), Al-'Azeez (the Almighty), Al-'Atheem (the Supreme), Al-'Afoww (the Oft-Pardoning), Al-'Aleem (the All-Knowing), Al-'Aliyy (the Sublime), Al-Gaffaar (the Oft-Forgiving), Al-Ghaniyy (the Self-Sufficient), Al-Fattaah (the Revealer), Al-Qaadir (the Potent), Al-Qaahir (the Irresistible), Al-Quddoos (the Holy), Al-Qadeer (the All-Powerful), Al-Qareeb (the All-Near), Al-Qahhaar (the Vanquisher), Al-Kabeer (the Great), He is above all comprehension, the Guardian, the Transcendent, the Proud, the Puissant, the Glorious, the Fashioner, the Omnipotent, the Sustainer, the Sovereign, the Masterful, the One, the Inheritor, the All-Embracing, the Benevolent, the Advocate, the Protector, the Bestower, the Judge, the Ever-Living, the Lord, and the Munificent.

"And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allah, so call on Him by them, and leave the company of those who belie or deny (or utter impious speech against) His Names. They will be requited for what they used to do." [Quran 7:180]

To those who ask whether Allah is the correct name of God:

God sent Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to all humanity as a guide and mentor. God made His message the last one, and made it a universal message until the Last Hour. God sent down the Glorious Quran in Arabic to the Prophet and He preserved and protected it against any distortion, change, or alteration. We still recite the Glorious Quran in the same form revealed to our Prophet (pbuh) fourteen centuries ago. The Glorious Quran is relevant for each and every time and place. It guides all people, regardless of their different colors and languages, to the path of goodness and it leads them to the truth, and to safety and happiness in this world as well as the Hereafter.

Before this, God sent down the Psalms, the Torah and the Gospels in the languages of the Children of Israel.

God, the Almighty, says:

"O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over (leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from God a light and a plain Book (this Quran). Wherewith God guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides them to a Straight Way (Islamic Monotheism)." [Quran: 5:15-16]

"And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Aalamin (mankind, spirits and all that exists), Which the trustworthy Holy Spirit [Gabriel] has brought down; Upon your heart (O Muhammad) that you may be (one) of the warners."
[Quran 26: 192-194].

Therefore, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said that Arabic will be the official language in Paradise so that everyone can communicate with each other easily and God says in the Quran:

10. And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter).

11. These will be those Nearest to Allah.

12. In Gardens of Bliss:

13. A number of people from those of old,

14. And a few from those of later times.

15. (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones),

[Quran -- the Inevitable Event 56:10-26]

There is nothing to dispute over names and titles. Truth does not need to have symbols, names and languages.

All languages belong to God because He was the One Who created them. God tells us that the differences in colour and languages are a sign of His Greatness and Power in creation. He says:

“And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the differences of your languages and (skin) colours. Verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge.”
[Quran 30:22]

It is the duty of every Muslim and non-Muslim; man, woman, and child, to read The Holy Quran and try to understand it in their own capacity.

Peace be upon those who follow true guidance.
